When you seek help for depression, PTSD, or anxiety, you deserve care that sees all of you - not just your symptoms. At Elevated Horizons Therapeutics, we understand that you are more than a physical body. You are a unique blend of flesh and spirit, a beautiful composition that modern medicine alone cannot fully embrace. This belief shapes how we approach mental health treatment, by considering the physical, and not forgetting the spiritual.

Understanding the Whole Person: Beyond Physical Symptoms

Mental health struggles often feel overwhelming because they touch every part of your life. You might notice physical symptoms like fatigue or tension, but there’s also an inner world of thoughts, emotions, and spiritual questions. Traditional medicine sometimes misses this deeper spiritual layer. That’s why at Elevated Horizons Therapeutics, we honor both the physical and immaterial. In addition to ketamine/Spravato, we also encourage you to explore how your experiences connect unseen realities.

Exploring the Intersection of Physical and Spiritual Healing

At Elevated Horizons Therapeutics, we invite you to consider how your mental health journey might also be a spiritual one. If you have questions about how your physical symptoms connect with your spirit, you can reach out to Brandon at bfarler@elevatedhorizons.org. This conversation is free for any client we are seeing. Just include “The Intersection [Your Name]” in the subject line.

During this discussion, we explore:

  • How your struggles relate to both body and spirit

  • The hope found in the Gospel

  • Ways to rise above circumstances by seeing them through a greater, ultimate reality.

You may or may not agree with everything we discuss, and your physical situation might not change immediately. But this perspective can help you find peace and strength beyond what you thought possible.

Practical Steps to Support Your Healing Journey

Healing from any severe mental distress is a process that can involve numerous layers. Here are some practical ways to support yourself alongside advanced treatments:

  1. Learn about and understand The Gospel. The cornerstone of healthy spiritual development is the answer to this question: What is the Gospel? Its study and application is central to life.

  2. Engage in prayer and reflection. Spend time in prayer for the purpose of knowing God and how that influences your circumstances. If you do not know how to pray, feel free to reach out.

  3. Explore spiritual resources. Reading scripture, such as the Gospel of John or the letters to the Ephesians and Romans, can offer comfort, insight, and a deeper understanding and purpose in your life.

  4. Build a support network grounded in faith. Surround yourself with friends, family, or church groups who focus on the Gospel and can provide encouragement, prayer, and understanding during challenging moments. Join a local church! If you are searching, consider using one of these directories: Pillar Network, Sovereign Grace Church, Treasuring Christ Together, Acts 29 Church Locator

  5. Trust in God's timing. Healing takes time, and every step forward is a testament to God's grace and plan for your life. Be patient and lean on your faith during this journey.

Remember, there is hope for every circumstance. You are not alone on this path.

Finding Hope and Peace in Your Journey

If you’ve ever felt hurt by the church or believers, I do not know the circumstances, but I am sorry your hurting. I am happy to share this beautiful Gospel perspective for any client that wants to listen - the goal is your highest good.

May this scripture from Psalm 30:11-12 be your story through the Gospel

"You have turned for me my mourning into dancing;
you have loosed my sackcloth and clothed me with gladness,
that my glory may sing your praise and not be silent.
O Lord my God, I will give thanks to you forever!"
